Meet Pemberton-based illustrator Kate Zessel, who finds creative inspiration in her hometown's breathtaking surroundings. Kate was born and raised in Vancouver, where she spent most of her free time skiing and biking in the mountains. This experience sparked her passion for illustrating life's special moments. She developed her illustration abilities while pursuing her love of the visual arts by majoring in Graphic Design at the Vancouver Art Institute. Kate's pictures reflect her love of exploration, and it is truly amazing how she can turn those moments into engaging visual narratives.
